Do you take Medi-Cal or insurance?

I don’t work with private insurance or Medi-Cal. My practice is self-pay only. This allows me to keep things simple and focused, without the added layers of insurance paperwork or third-party requirements. It also gives us more flexibility and privacy in how we work together. If you’d like more details about rates or payment, I’m always glad to provide this.

Can I pay with Venmo, credit card, or HSA/FSA?

Can you help me even if I’ve relapsed recently?

Yes, I can support you—even if you've recently experienced a relapse. Relapses are part of many people's recovery journeys. They don’t erase your progress—they simply mark a moment where extra support is needed. I’m here to walk alongside you, without judgment, as you take your next steps forward.

Do you provide referrals for MAT or detox if needed?

Can I talk about mental health, trauma, or grief during sessions?

Grief, trauma, and mental health challenges often play a significant role in substance use and recovery. Talking about these experiences isn’t just okay—it’s essential. It helps us understand what’s beneath the patterns and build support that truly fits your life. While I don’t provide clinical therapy or mental health treatment, I offer a safe, respectful space to explore how these experiences are showing up for you. If at any point it feels supportive or necessary to connect with a licensed therapist, I’ll help guide you toward trusted referrals. My role is to walk alongside you with care, honesty, and a focus on what matters most to you.

Are you certified/licensed?

I’m certified as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDCC) through CADTP, California’s recognized certifying body.

Why do clients choose this kind of support?

"Many people feel a gap after treatment ends.

I meet people where they are—without judgment, pressure, or clinical jargon. As a Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor, I focus on real conversations, practical support, and honest connection. I don’t diagnose or offer therapy. Instead, I help clients explore their relationship with substances, understand their options, and take steps that feel right for them.

I also prioritize accessibility: I offer virtual sessions across California, and I’ve curated region-specific resource lists so clients can find help close to home. Whether you’re just starting to think about change or already in recovery, you deserve support that feels safe, respectful, and real.

How do I request accomodations?

You’re welcome to request support at any time—no diagnosis required. I’ll respond with care and work with you to find the format or approach that best fits your needs, including referrals when needed.
